The ZeaDamper™ passive system increases the damping of the offshore wind foundation – either monopile or jacket – by using the sea water inside. For this, the foundation is closed off at the top, replacing the existing airtight platform, and the patented fluid damper of VizionZ Engineering is attached.
Improved dynamics and damping reduce the weight and dimensions of the foundation and increase its lifetime.
Technology demonstration
